Civil Works
Pacific Design & Construct have undertaken a variety of civil works as part of refurbishment and fit out projects. These works have included new roads, footpaths, kerb and gutter, cobblestone and paving, asphalt and concrete. Challenges that needed to be managed involved work on existing and underground services, the movement of live plant and equipment and tight semi-occupied work spaces. Environmental and weather conditions also had to be considered and factored into each project. Stakeholders are consulted at every stage of project so no detail is missed. Delivery of these projects on time and within budget is important because they often impact other parts of a business. These civil works included installation of sub base and compaction tests, excavation and soil removal, reinforcement works and traffic control.
